Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell has been reviewed by a surgeon this morning and a decision has been made to manage his left midfoot injury conservatively, meaning he will not require surgery.

The scans are to see the progress. The way I read it, looks like it is to buy a bit of time before they go down that path.

Without surgery he was looking at 4 weeks. Surgery was season ending.
