Ok time for a review from an optimist

Manly
Despite being gutted by injury and suspension we h them on toast @ 20-12 and shot ourself in the foot. Fact
Manly running 5th and have flogged the defending 3 peat premiers on their way to only 2 losses

Donkeys
Still under done with injury & suspension. Game was there to win but once again, killed our selves with errors.
clearly a top 4 team,
Theyve flogged the cows, Fins & Nz. Pushed the storm

Rorters
6 butchered sets in the first 8 set the trend. No excuses
Beat donkeys and we’re very good pushing panthers to the death

Dogs
Had their measure. Easy win, never in doubt.
Since then they’ve been very good. Dead still to lose to storm, beat rorters flogged knights

NZ
Once again, top rated team, pushed them till error riddled period that killed us. They clearly a top 6 team

Sharks
they are competition leaders and we’re lucky to beat us during such an injury riddled period that continued though the game.
they’ve easily beaten the raiders & cows who were haven’t played

All the form around us is very good, We’ve only lost to the benchmark teams, all the while we’ve been under done and screwed over. we haven’t had the privilege of playing the titans, knights, the cows, the tigers, the eels

I'm thinking exactly the same. When we get some troops back we are right in this. Arrow is a good start.

I think we should make a thread for the eternal pessimists. They can have an outlet to drown in their sorrow. Sorry I'm not in that crowd so maybe one of you guys who think we're doomed should start that thread up. You could converse on the subject of failure and expert cliff jumping.

We don't even resemble an NRL team with the speed, fitness or the strength necessary, to compete for 80 mins in 2024.
This Coach has steered this Grand Final team to the bottom of the comp in short order. Players are unfit, have no strategy, tactics or confidence.
And, if last nights Post Match Press Conference is anything to go by, he's alienated the players even further by heaping all of the blame onto them last night.
It's been obvious for quite a while now, that they're not listening to him and not performing for him and next week will only get worse.
Simply, we need a new Coach now!
