I think it was on the cards. We were winning but longer term short a competent half, centre, winger and awful new recruits and selections - even back then. With injuries it was inevitable.

Arthur has always been a media target and Ciraldo the media darling despite no results. Dean Pay would have loved to have had half of Ciraldo’s recruits!

I don't think it's Ciraldo picking him. Hutchison was always a fave of Gould's.

Adam Reynolds has thrown his support behind under siege South Sydney coach Jason Demetriou and insists star duo Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker are not to blame for his former side's woes.

The 33-year-old Brisbane skipper is well qualified to speak on the subject after playing 231 games for the Rabbitohs, for whom he won the 2014 premiership.

Yep, Reyno would absolutely come out and say if he thought it was true that:

  • JD is a ********, never rated him
  • Cody / Trell are bums

Typical player asked and gave a nice vanilla answer. There is no reason for losses, we just need to work a bit harder!

Adam was the brains and was mentally tough.

Walker, cook, Trell aren't mentally tough players, more so Walker and Trell. Cook lacked brains.

If things aren't going their way, they get easily frustrated and start to do stupid things and it compounds into their game getting worst.

Why so many teams would niggle at Walker and try and get him off his game.

If they were mentally tough players, we could have won comps with Walker and Cook, but because they aren't, it's why we haven't been able to go that last step.

This is when we were making prelims and a grand final.

Sutton did good at 6 during 2012 to 2014 but making that switch at the end of 2014 to Keary to partner reynolds was that extra spark that was needed to go all the way but we didn't have that spark to go all the way during the Walker and Cook era

We were hoping Trell would be the catalyst but his brains are lacking and he is either injured or suspended

How would Reynolds know SFA about Souths internal issues and who is or isn't to blame for the current culture when he hasn't even been in a Souths dressing room for 3 years?
 
At training today JD running the show No Mal anywhere to be seen
No change to line up
Not once did JD show the players how to miss a tackle , drop a pass
A fumble the ball in the play the ball
Pass the ball behind the winger and over the sidelines
