Doubt it

They’re roster is average as a whole.

The only three players on overs are JAC who they just sacked so there’s $550k , Mahoney and Burton

Chricton is on less than Wighton and is proving he’s worth every cent

Other than that they have a $250k halfback a $350k fullback and Gus would be making sure everyone else’s salary matches their ability and position

Souths are rumoured to be signing a middle forward, any idea if this is the case?

We played an entire season with a backline of Gray, Kennar, Milne, Gagai 2, and random mid season signings.

We need backs. We need quality. We cannot be sure our first choice team stay fit. Highly likely 2+ go down for extended periods as usual.

We needed second rowers and got Schuster and Aitken.

all that's left after the fox is a big **** off middle.

Then the season after we can look for a quality 9 unless Humphries/Ilias become guns.

We signed Hubner and he's in our top 30.

Another lock forward who is small and looks like he has reserve grade written all over him.

We would have been better off moving Le blanc in the top 30 than signing him imo
