Round 23: Other Matches

Let's see how the Roosters go if they keep dropping the ball on the first tackle after scoring a try against a decent team or in any other circumstance in their own 20

The training clinic against no one is over.

Kimmorley must be very glad there is only 2 more games before he finishes up his coaching stint.

“Disgraceful” by the Tigers doesn’t cover it.

Oh dear. The Raiders must be licking their lips at their draw - could they pass us on for and against? We only have a led of around 160.

I described Manly as a rabble but where does that leave Wests?

This round can't end quick enough.

Cheers

Surely the drop off next year… no Bromwich bros, smith… if not the year after? Possibly no Munster or Bellamy?
That question has been asked since 1998. It’s not about big names, it’s about a deep and comprehensive junior development program and a structured and disciplined coaching plan.
They do it to a tee.

Munster, Slater, Cam and Brandon Smith, Bromwich bros, Hughes, Grant, NA-S, Paps, Addo-Carr… all juniors or average players at other clubs.

Fantastic over so many years…

What luck the Roosters have getting the wooden spooners in the 3rd last round at home.

That Tigers conference was sad.

Kimmorley basically saying the club is defeated - players loaned, players injured and players checked out.

James Tamou just devastated- apologised to everyone and after the conference will front the ref. It was sad when he spoke about what his actions have done and his 4 kids and his team mates. Then when someone asked about playing on next year he wants to but may not - then he will go out and look for a job.

Probably the saddest conference all season.
