2025 Injury and Judiciary

It’s sad you made this yesterday and we are talking about it already this subject.

Please Cam be ok and only 3 months out and not the 5 months.
Think of all players we have, he first and foremost deserves a good long (albeit unforseen) REST.
Rest up and come back better than ever Mr. Murray and let the remainder of the team put in like you have while you out.

I'm looking forward to the surgeon recommending a conservative approach to recovery, it taking longer than expected to heal, before realising in February that he needs the surgery anyway
STOP IT YOU

I am looking forward to all the Pride posters telling us they know every players contract details and value, that they know more than our rehab team, that they have more inside info than Bennett, in other words a repeat of 2024.

Actually I just flipped through a few recent threads, at least I didn't have to wait long.
Imagine when the season starts...........................

I look forward to you making dumb posts about footy and pretty much everything.

The info I received was that the injury occured before the Aus game and that he was given an injection to be able to play.

If this was the case (and I trust the source) then surely we are able to get some salary cap relief

Salary cap relief for what?

He might only miss a game or 2

Did you mean the NZ game? Or before he played for Aus?

While it’s possible to get salary cap relief for long term injuries suffered in rep games, from everything I’ve read, the timing of the injury means he’ll miss 2-3 games maximum (5 month injury recovery, and adding a month to be conservative) - which means the salary cap relief doesn’t kick in I believe.
