2025 Injury and Judiciary

Oh my f**king God. What the actual f**k?!! Just when we thought this shit show of a year for injuries was done, we get absolutely whacked again as if we hadn't had enough. Far out. I am so friggin over this.

Seriously, I have never ever seen or heard of any sporting organisation picking up so many obscure and long-term serious injuries as we have. It's actually crazy and hard to comprehend. Thought it was done, and we could finally look forward to having a fit and healthy squad from the get-go in 2025, but that now doesn't look like a possibility.

Our injury curse from 2024 is going to carry into 2025. Ughhhhhhhhhhh.

However, I guess, he is seeing a specialist next week to determine whether he will need surgery or not. So, it's not guaranteed he will need surgery. There's some hope there he may not. I admit, it doesn't look good, but let's see what happens.

4.5 months until Round 1 now, so worst case scenario, he may still make Round 1 or only miss a few games. Thank God this happened now, and not during the Season.

Injuries can f**k off.

So, we're now likely to be without our skipper for most of, if not all Pre-Season which isn't ideal.

This is on top of AJ, Tatola and possibly Tass missing a big chunk, if not all of Pre-Season too. That's not great.

Thank God Wayne is back.

At least Cam will get a rest. I’m not sure Tatola will be ready to start the season either. He’s got a fairways to go with his recovery.
Who knows where Tatola will be. It’s still a while before the season starts. I don’t see why he wouldn’t be ready to start the season given he is now out of the boot.

Still not the worst injury I have seen. A 49ers player was shot in the chest and was back playing 50 days after being shot.

Don’t forget Trell suspended round 1 too. Hard to see Tatola being ready either he’s got a long ways to go with his recovery.

I don't know the extent of Cam's injury, but if he doesn't need an op I reckon he'll be back by pre-season. Mine started to come good around 4 months,no op. Still not 100% but good enough to play I reckon and he's going to have much better rehab than I had.Bloody painful injury.

I hope you’re right I’m trying to work out if the learning to walk bit on his Insta was fair dinkum or tongue in cheek he did look very ginger though..

To be back playing 50 days after that is a miracle.

I’m guessing a bit of tongue in cheek. But after being off it for so long you would expect him to be ginger. Being 4 months until kick off as long as there isn’t any set backs you would think that would be more than enough time to get him right to go.

He can still run. He’ll be at pre-season.

Hope so mate we need Junior fit and playing well he’s important to us

In reality he wouldn’t have been involved much in any trials anyway, maybe the charity shield & he can still run presumably & keep fit, he knows the way Wayne plays, he knows the way the squad play, I don’t see him being out of the loop as long as there are no complications & he’s on target for the return date
