2024 Pathways Sides

When we played the Sharks in round 22 we had 6 out of 7 in our backline from the reserve grade side. At the time the reserve grade had their own injuries like Illias and Hawkins as well. Yes, it's a real knock-on effect through the grades.
A side point to that game was that the commentary focused on Hynes being out as the injury issue, not half our team.
Is that why they call it the 'knock-on effect' cup?

The girls went down 40-4 to end their season I think they won 4 from 11 games.

Mavo called it

The Sharks play the Bulldogs today in the Jersey Flegg GF today. It’s on 9Now. Max McCarthy will be playing for those who want to have a look at him.

Also the centre for the Sharks Talanoa Penitani has apparently signed for us. We have also signed one of their props as well. Not sure who it is or even if he is playing today. But a chance to have a look at some of these kids for anyone interested.

How did they look?

Interesting on the website that the club is asking for host families for kids from out of town which means we’re casting our net far & wide, not sure if that’s any more or less than usual
We seem to have signed a young prop from Perth, big kid for a young age, a long, long way to go but interesting none the less

Huge for U15. Good thing is he doesn’t look it in the photo, so big but in proportion.
