Sam Burgess Coach Watch

Warrington are top on the table on points difference, pretty good effort. How were they before Sam arrived?

Warrington play Hull next week, 1 v 2. The way they played against Wigan they would have to be favourites for the championship now. This has been a big start to Sam's head coaching career.

Would certainly be Madge like. Note: F/A separating 1-3 and Wigan have a game in hand as well. But they are right in it.

In a perfect world we get a Sam Burgess v Lewis Dodd grand final.

St Helens play Hull FC this week. Be interested to see if Dodd is reinstated for this game after last week's disaster. If they are not going to play him then send him over here.

Good on ya Sammy!

And honestly, this isn't a bad result for us future wise. I think the longer he stays over there and learns his trade, the better. Come 2027, I think that would be the perfect time to bring him back to the club if he wants to.

Warrington playing Hull KR Friday night, over there, probably 5 am here. Sam confirmed that Bateman is playing.

Very impressed with Sam. After Warrington lost to Hull KR he gave them a lot of credit for how well they played, even calling them brilliant. Good response.
Also interesting fact, Ryan Hall played on the wing for Hull KR and he is older than the coach of the opposing team, Sam Burgess. How often is a player older than a coach. Sam 35, Ryan 36.
