Match Discussion Round 11: Rabbitohs v Cowboys

Correct please that’s my opinion on what I have seen from both. Pete does have slower service short and long passes wise. I like Pete but he’s not better than Cook. Damien had a strong a game last week in our top 2 players and here you are saying he should be left out or to only play limited mins it’s just silly talk and everyone can see the agenda you have against Cook you can not help it even when he has a good game you still dig the boot in. Funny thing is I know you would not say it to his face directly no way you would!

Nobody has said Cook is a great defender but he has been able to have a long career in the NRL you can not play 200 games if you are not a good defender you would not last that long.

Bias in your opinion that is. You brought up the Cook stuff again and couldn’t praise him for his strong game last week and are back to digging the boot into him again out of our whole squad you can’t give Cook a break not even after a strong game that’s a reflection on you.

Haha jesus mate you seriously need to stop with this "say it to his face" bullshit.

You have main character syndrome energy.

Just got back from captain's run in Brizzy. Boys looking good - hopefully it shows tomorrow. They were all pumped for Jack's 250, who really is a leader out there. He was the most vocal, and was even punishing himself with push ups when he didn't get a move right.
Don't know if it's reported or if I missed it, but Davvy didn't train at all.
Had a chat to Ello - he's very happy about Dodd, and seemed happy about the England trip, without letting any info away to a Neville like me I think there'll be more signings to come.
Cody, Wighton and AJ were working on some slick moves, so I think we'll see plenty more attack that way this weekend.

If Davvy is out, it makes for an interesting reshuffle given we only have Tom on the bench. Would you push one of Keaon or Arrow into the middle and start Milne in the backrow? Havili into the middle and Duncan at 13? I assume French is the one to come in in any scenario but how you balance it I don’t know..

Play Taane as prop less disruption

Interestingly, despite being in the red training top Havili played no part in the training either. I am hoping it's just a minor illness or something. It's been a unique and frustrating year for injuries that's for sure.

I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say I don’t recall an injury run like this at Souths.

Anybody?

I know we had a poor run in the back half of 2015. But this is fairly ridiculous.

I’m not even suprised anymore.

Was Davvy there amongst the boys still or not?

I saw him do that in one of his early sessions with us and another player tried to stop him.
Really made me think about how poor our training is compared to other teams
