Not sure where you get 3% from. It's anywhere from 11-30% depending on your source. If the morons had taken this seriously from the beginning we wouldn't have to go through all this shit now. Still the idiots are resisting the change.
In 2019, around 11% of global primary energy came from renewable technologies.

Accordingly, the share of renewables in global electricity generation jumped to 29% in 2020, up from 27% in 2019. Bioenergy use in industry grew 3%, but was largely offset by a decline in biofuels as lower oil demand also reduced the use of blended biofuels.

Germany is going great guns with green energy, NOT, now they are telling them not to shower to save energy.
As for lismore?, they have been having big floods long before the place was ever called Lismore.
