Given that you are polite you are on record with me as saying the past and present are not linked I believe. If you didn’t then read on anyway!
After the Great War had ended all the nations of the world excluding Russia gathered in Paris to decide how to split the world up.Lenin described the conference as a “thieves kitchen”lol
France wanted reparations from Germany for the damage to France by their invasion etc.
England and the US opposed France because of the repercussions from a harsh peace but France carried the day and Germany had to pay huge amounts of money to France.
This caused intense hardship for the population of Germany and their economy became fragile. This condition created circumstances which gave rise to extremist political movements e.g.the National Socialist party whose insane leader was violently RACIST ultra nationalist and hated everyone under the sun except the master race.Hitler was Austrian btw.
This resulted in the most horrific war as you are well aware!
The past and the present ARE inextricably linked.

Nice stuff Bluey,but…..history does repeat itself!😢

Mags, you just cant have millions of people decide they are better off in your country demanding welfare ect, its total kaos and has to be stopped , your heart can bleed till the cows come home but its just the truth, Africa is a continent full of failed countries, Europe cant be expected to take multi millions of these people and not become a basket case like the countries those people left.

Whereas I don’t fully disagree with you it must be considered that interference in the economy of these nations has played a major role in destabilising them.
I have often asked myself why I believe such and such.History can explain why?The Belgian Congo was taken over by the Belgians and they absolutely screwed all the wealth they could out of the place, the Belgian king was a right bastard!
How many other countries were screwed by western powers?
Also at the Paris Peace conference, the US president claimed New Guinea as an American interest because of millions of Americans.
Billy Hughes the OZ pm. told him to piss off as we had 60000 dead in the Great Slaughter and were entitled to control in our region!
New Guinea a Rugby League nation!😜
PS Currently some Scandinavian counties have problems with an influx of dark skinned people. The solution is?

Are you being honest with yourself?, the economy of those countries was screwed by interference?, mags before the Europeans came they had no economies, can i direct you to how Rhodesia now Zimbabwe turned out when Europeans lost control, or Keyna, look at the decline of South Africa when black majority rule came in, its not pretty its not PC but it is what it is.

That’s your opinion which is strongly held so what is your solution!
Rhodes was a bandit nothing more and played a role in starting a war with the Boers in which the Anglos caused the deaths of thousands of innocent people in their concentration camps!
I gave you an example re the Belgian Congo.Read about it.
Throughout history the countries with an army win and take over the country.
Thats what colonisation means.
PS Read Wikipedia Atrocities in Belgian free State.
Then comment or form an opinion!

What the Belgian king did is long past history, what Africa does going forward is up to them, from what i see much of it is a basket case, we need to let them sort it and we need to stop the outflow of people into Europe, also the Boer war is long past history, we need to look after our history going forward and what will be good for us .

You don’t seem to understand this past history is ridiculous the present and the past are inextricably linked and you refuse to concede anything pushing your own opinion.Read and educate yourself.
If it hadn’t have been for Captain Cook we wouldn’t be here!
He died in the 18th century!

I just see there is a limit to how much you dwell on past history, im all for what is best for us going forward, what is the direction you want for the country, i dont understand your constant referral to long past events.

In just 6 days 11,000 young African fighting age men landed on the Italian island of Lampedusua , 7000 came in just 48 hours, this cant continue , if it does and people in Africa see the green light the numbers we see now will increase massively .

It's chaos, not Kaos (unless you are referring to Get Smart evil organisation Kaos).

The 11,000 Africans could also be described as voting age, instead they are described as fighting age. That's deliberate to try and paint them as a threat (whether they are or not). They are not invading either unless they are armed and organised.

You call it whatever you like if it makes you feel better, invasion, illegal immigrants, fighting age, voting age, it doesnt matter, and they are a threat, you think its going to stop next weekend?.

Call it what it is. Illegal immigration, not invasion. I was just pointing out that the use of "fighting age" men is deliberately emotive.

Seriously Bluey if you can’t learn from the lessons of history you are bound to make the same mistakes.
You aren’t going to rewrite history so that you can win the argument.
End of story!
