Why is everyone holding up the Roosters and Taylan May as great cap management?
1) they just extended the bloke and now they are trying to offload him - that’s not good cap management.
2)given the way it’s played out the Roosters are more than likely going to have to chip in to offload him. It’s pretty obvious they are desperate to get rid of him and any club who is interested is going to use that to their advantage.
I can’t believe everyone is believing the media spin that the Roosters offloading Taylan is some cap masterstroke. As it stand they have a bloke on contract they desperately want to punt- that’s not good management

The Roosters are gods gift to rugby league with some on here, haven't you noticed that yet ?

From Paul Crawley, and i agree.
The NRL faces a crisis of conscience over how it deals with the serious wrist injury South Sydney skipper Cameron Murray suffered while on Kangaroo duties.

It would be an absolute injustice if the Rabbitohs lose their most inspirational player for potentially a third of next season and still get no salary cap relief after Murray did the right thing and put his hand up to play for Australia.

I don’t think anyone has insinuated it’s a cap management master stroke. Rather an illustration of aggressive roster management when they have become aware there’s a player available who better suits their needs

As middles go they have an Australian and QlD rep in Collins, a Kiwi rep in White and two monsters in pathways one of which debuted last year against us.

There’s someone in the market they want and believe they need more to win a comp so they are moving who they want for what they want

May would be our best prop which is saying alot

You add him and JAC to our 17 and it goes from bottom top 8 to top 4 with a good year with injuries

The 17 also looks more like a team Wayne can get premiership out of.

It could effectively out score the opposition easily every week

So yes it’s not great cap management but it’s aggressive roster management

Something we seriously lack

Nope just found it funny as Madge hasn’t begun yet they won’t know what hit em soon.

If you are going to quote something at least attribute it correctly because that reads as if you authored it. Very strange.
 
Yeah, I really don't want to read about other teams either.
BUT...
This is a news and general NRL discussion, so other teams news is fair game in this thread, to be fair.

I'd personally just ask the quote/s be attributed correctly.
