Latest Rumours

As a lock. When's the last time McInnes played hooker?
He is playing in a side that has a decent hooker, who can't cover any other position, where as McInnes can.

A side which he is captain of! After he captained his previous team, and was the Captain of the junior Kangaroos when he was at Souths.

We never should have let McInnes go.
.

Our nine made selection because McInnes was injured at the time. Api has represented Fiji. Api was Madges back up hooker behind Bully.

He has now picked neither Cook or Api at SOO, but selected McInnes, go figure.
Hahaha...don't go changing Nifty.

(I was just listening to a podcast where Cam McInnes was devastated that Cookie was selected instead of him. And Cam has now been selected at lock, not hooker - apart from those 2 inconvenient facts...)

I think it’s great McInnes has his chance - it’s unfortunate he left us but he was behind Bully and he and API played very different styles in early 14 when they both auditioned while Issac had his shoulder out. Ultimately Api played a style that suited the team better and was closer to Bullys approach so got the big call to the big dance.

Ultimately McInnes is a more versatile player and an effort player rather than game breaker.

He’ll do fine.

What are you on about?

You’d assume most clubs should be trying.

Article said dragons trying to sign him and dolphins trying to keep him.

He met with flanagan last week.

Then new article speculating that if Bennett wants him that he could try and persuade him to come to Souths.

That's it

Wayne Bennett's second coming at South Sydney next season could reap the Rabbitohs a massive bonus.

Bennett's right-hand man at the Dolphins for the past two seasons, Peter O'Sullivan, may also land at Redfern in 2025.

O'Sullivan is widely regarded as the best recruitment man in the business and has done an amazing job with the roster at Redcliffe in the club's initial two seasons.
