Firstly, notice how all the crims in this vid are black and the "innocent" civilians supposedly needing to defend themselves are white. Massive coincidence? Mmmm... Okay, so the simplistic message being overstated is the old cliched "only way to stop a bad (black) guy with a gun is a good (white) guy with a gun" even though he doesn't actually say this. And, as we saw in the dreadful school massacre in Uvalde, Texas last year, there were plenty of good guys (cops) outside the school as the shootings continued, too scared to go in and do their job to protect little children from being murdered. Still, the Texas governor, Texas senator and former US President Trump all fronted up to collect their hefty pay packets to speak at the annual NRA convention parroting the ol' "good guy with a gun" BS

A search on John Stossel's views on guns will show that he would heartily disagree with you.
He's been on the wrong side of history on just about every issue: supported the tobacco industry, supports big oil and gas, is anti doing anything about pollution or climate change, supports and happily works for megalomaniacal oligarchs, he's pro-guns and anti-gun control, he's okay with racism, loves stoking the culture wars, hell, he's even anti-breakfast (WTF?). He's probably also pro-paedophile and rape if there's a buck in it for himself.

So, where's the harm in wanting to have a one-off "black out" event? Is that racist? Or is it an exclusionary event that causes no harm to white people? Obviously the latter... just like you can have a men or women only event or a Christian, Jewish or Muslim only event etc. It's not harmful and so it's not racism.
