Stossel’s video features and appears to be largely based on Alex Epstein’s oily disinfo, which was debunked by both anonymous climate scientist “The Disproof” on Twitter, and climate scientist Andy Dessler in person and online. In a tweet thread after a debate, Dessler points out that Epstein’s data-free rhetoric is wrong about renewables increasing energy prices, disproving the “energy poverty” propaganda."

He liked to interview children for his segments, landing him in hot water when parents accused him of manipulating their kids in order to dismiss environmental concerns.
Stossel moved from ABC to the FOX Business Network in 2009. At FOX, Stossel continued to attack the validity of environmental problems.
