Injury & Judiciary Reports

I'd assume Cody is still icing that injury and maybe waiting for swelling to subside. So no appropriate update.

That's not what I was hoping to hear, are you thinking Gray to halfback?
.
Maybe Teaupa moves there. I doubt they'll move Gray. Probably play the let it bounce and hope for the best game again back there.

As insane as it appears to us I have noted that just about every team do it now
Typical cut and paste coaches of the modern era

This is a bit of a reality check.

Was just looking at our top 13 players for the season by minutes played.

Things start off pretty good with:

1. Koloamatangi
2. Walker
3. Cook
4. Wighton

Pretty solid start. Then…

5. Milne (1,124)
6. Johnston
7. Chee Kam (929)
8. Gagai: (867)
9. Mitchell (850) (11 Games)
10. Arrow (757) (11 Games)
11. Murray (657) (10 Games)
12. Tass (640)
13. Host (633) (8 Games)

Bit to unpack there.

Firstly that Milne, Chee Kam and Gagai have played more first grade than Mitchell, Arrow and Murray.

Also that our 13th most minuted player is Host with 8 appearances.

Meanwhile at the other end you have:

24. Tatola 267 (6 Games)
26. Ilias 160 (2 Games)
27. S Mitchell 119 (3 Games)
30. Munro 19 (1 Game)
NA. Graham 0

Urgh.

Devastating. Absolutely guttering for AJ, and I'm shattered for him. That's a horrendous injury, especially for the type of player he is. This will now see him miss most, if not all of 2025 Pre-Season and he'll start next year on the back foot.

That try-scoring record just got a hell of a lot harder. God, I feel for him.

Also, not good at all about Cody, that's the last thing we need. it was being reported as a hip flexor injury, but Hornby said it was a calf. Fingers crossed it's nothing major.

Injuries in 2024 huh.........
**** me…you go away for a few days, and are out of mobile and wifi coverage and you ****ers let the place go to wrack ruin! 🤣

I didn’t see the game (it seems thankfully), and have only just found out that AJ has done his Achilles.

Well the season can’t get any worse, can it?

Well there you go…it can. W T F happened to Cody?!!!

in that regard, this season is no different to last. It’s a fact that the amount of games that we’ve had to squeeze out of our fringe players was too much especially when it’s all at the same time for prolonged periods.

It was dismissed as a reason for last years decline, by many, but now they rally behind the fact…..odd🥴

Yeh but wasn't it all on the coach, fitness and halfback ??? 🤔😁

His really poor performance when he did play aside.
Yeah, i know. Its like a many of the reserves in the last 18 months. Promise much and show glimpses, but somehow never quite get the chance to really impress or get injured or get to play in a poorly performing team etc etc... Just glad I am not a coach!!!!!
