Injury & Judiciary Reports

It's a foot injury. I'd be shocked if it's less than 6 weeks, probably the season.

Mitchell suffered the injury after 20 minutes of South Sydney’s game against the Eels on Thursday night when he drifted across the field and was tackled by Dylan Brown. He told Souths officials his foot was sore at half-time, but did not receive a painkiller and was able to finish the game, including scoring a try and kicking two goals.
Mitchell was awaiting a second set of scans on Saturday. There is no break, but there are fears he may have suffered a Lisfranc injury, which would end his season – a huge blow for the Blues and South Sydney, who have won five in a row to get themselves within a win of the top eight.

Interim Souths coach Ben Hornby hailed Mitchell’s toughness.
“It was a huge effort to go out there in the second half knowing what we know now,” he said on Saturday.

Camel toe  that's relevant?!
Good answer but I suspect it has to do with foot injuries wearing boots - apparently when the troops fall from the horse but their foot is stuck in the stirrup….

Apparently his other claim to fame was surgically removing the rectum - we could do with him in the refereeing ranks

Best to get his foot right and Arrows shoulder sorted before next year.

Its not like we are going to miss out on a top 4 spot anyways

So true. It’ll be one in a million foot injury, 3 documented cases worldwide, career threatening etc 🙃
..and will need to travel to upper Mongolia to the only known Lisfranc physiotherapist in the world for 6 weeks to treat the injury and have a chance of playing in the first sudden death player off game if we were to slip into 8th place.

Freak injury, weight issue and load bearing or body not holding up to fullback? He has bkt had a full season since joining us has he?

If it's doable needle him up and get him on the field until our season is officially shot. Just like GI a 75% Latrell is better than anyone else we can replace him with. Put him at centre.

Yeah great idea, worked a treat with CG

Let’s f$&k him for next season as well

We aren’t winning the comp this year. No chance

Let’s just get everyone right for next season when Wayne arrives and our premiership window reopens briefly

The top 4 teams are all weaker next season, let’s not be the same
