He's soooooo misunderstood.

When you look at the size of his win, and this after being charged and copping all the muck thrown his way, it makes you wonder if the last election did have a few dodgy results that saw Biden elected, i have no opinion either way, just saying .

Yeah all that muck 😂

@Training_The_House_Down I am no fan of Trump and find it hard to understand how so many voted for him. I know I wouldn't have. However, I give him and his election team kudos for the campaign that saw him win comfortably. He really is Mr Teflon.

The election result says more about the American public than Trump. Obviously they voted against the alternative. A simplistic view would be to simply say it was gender and race based and while with some voters that may have been true I think by and large the American public rejected the democratic vision for America.

It will be very interesting to see were this all goes now as Trump will have the number is the house to pass laws unimpeded.

I would consider myself a little bit left of centre with progressive and civil libertarian views and it will be interesting to see where the US in in 4 years.

Mate, a fundamental tenet of democracy is you have faith in the judicial system. The US judicial system found no evidence of election rigging. My understanding is the Trump legal team could not produce any evidence of election fraud and in their opening arguments specifically stated that the suits where not fraud cases.

I have no doubt Trump lost fair and square last election.

I would consider myself politically similar to you

As someone in my mid 50s I’ve seen enough federal, state & local elections & by law have had to engage in the democratic political process, it’s hard to be totally politically naive here in Australia

Anyone who says they’re not surprised or amazed by Trump winning or allowed to even be there & from an Australian democratic perspective is kidding themselves & is just so ideologically aligned with Trump

We’ve seen a case where Americans are more comfortable supporting a rapist rather than a woman

toys being thrown out of the cot and abuse being hurled by the “losers” and they wonder why the lost😆😆
Their arrogance and self entitlement is staggering

I don't see any one throwing toys out of the cot. I swear I call you stupid because I genuinely think you might be. You say "toys being throw out of the cot" with absolutely no sense of irony. It's brilliant. To be so intentionally unaware of your own words.

You are incapable of answeing questions about him.

You then impugn the validity of the US judicial system. If he gets found not guilty of something, the judicial system did their job, yet if he is found guilty, it was a miscarriage of justice borne from a democratic judge.

I am actually quite impressed how well the democratic side have taken this overwhelming loss. No throwing toys out of the cot like trumps insurrection crew. Humble acceptance from the majority.

He has the lot now. Senate, Court, House, Presidency.

If people are not willing to grow and accept the positions they hold on situations might be wrong, then they should not be dealt with.

So, considering I do not live in the US, I hope he gets his way without any impediments as the people of the US voted.

Deport the millions, raise the tariffs, try and bring manufacturing back to the US without massively increasing the cost of living. End the war in Ukraine and prove me and the others wrong. Prove that racism isn't a motivating factor by doing this with the best interests of all colours and creeds. Let the states decide on womens rights etcetcetc.

If he can do all he has said he can do, even half of it, I will be impressed.

The guy is a human cockroch in my opinion, a morally bankrupt despicable piece of trash. That said, maybe the world needs a morally bankrupt despicable piece of trash in charge.
