To answer your question, yes I did. When l travel I like to immerse myself into the “culture“, there are better words, of that area I’m visiting.

Yes, I did speak to some of them, I also spoke to security guards and police around Time Square and rest assured my Hotel Manager was more than forthcoming.

TTHD, you may not like it and want to deflect or refuse to believe me…..that’s up to you. I can only proffer my experience of what I encountered

Snide? Me? Never!!!

I’ve heard the same issue occurring in the UK & Ireland with regards to immigrants
It’s a common political ploy to dehumanise people & cause alarm amongst the mainly ignorant public & those who are just plain racist
It’s been happening through history continuously

They’ll steal our women
They’ll rape our women
They’ll take your jobs
They’ll lower living standards
They’re not Christian’s
They’ll eat your cats & dogs

This isn’t new & it’s used for political purposes, migration also isn’t new
There’s a heightened sense of migration now & aversion to foreigners due to these particularly unsettled times
But if people have a modicum of intelligence they need to just step outside the narrative a bit & consider all of this, of course those that are already racist & set in their ways, ignorant & insular, they don’t want to, they’ll just use all of this as fuel for their hatred
