2023 State of Origin

QLD deserved their win, it was an alright game and was good how the lead changed hands so often.

Would love to see the replacements as
Dylan Edwards for Teddy
LM for Chrichton
Campbell for Turbo
Nicho for Luai
Tatola for TPJ
Keoan for Young
In all seriousness, I can only see LM coming into the side probably for Turbo or Chrichton.

Can't see massive changes.

Ego won't allow it.

I said to someone else, why does nsw lose with so many penriff players and why does cleary choke?

Cleary will target weak links with his kicking game at club level, at rep level there isn't many weak links to kick at.

Penriff score a lot of tries from forcing errors from kicks.

The other is penriff wins games off the back of their defence, NSW ain't doing that.

More points QLD score, more pressure on cleary to come up with something, if his kicks ain't working, he doesn't have a plan B.

This was as obvious as the nose on Fittler’s face.

Pick players because of the club they played for, regardless of their form.
Pick players who have been out of form all year.
Pick players who were dropped to reserve grade not that long ago, and who aren’t up to Origin standard.
Play favourites

Lose Origin 1 and the series basically.

Fittler needs to resign.
Alexander needs to be sacked.
Get rid of A. Johns as well.

Pick a coach who can get the best out of the best players.

Pick players who are in form, regardless of what club they play for.

It really is pathetic and has been happening in NSW for nearly 20 years…we’re obviously slow learners.
Well said mate. Exactly.
I was glad Victoria lost!

Nsw team I would pick for game 2

1.Mitchell
2.Ado Carr
3.Crichton
4.Graham
5.Too
6.Hynes
7.Cleary
8.Paulo
9.Api
10.haas
11.Martin
12.Yeo
13.murray

14.koloamangti
15.Fonua-Blake
16.Klemmer
17.Talakai

At half-time I thought the NSW forwards might get on top - it never happened although it was fairly even in the middle. The NSW backs were overwhelmed. Crichton didn't have a happy match and aside from To'o the Penrith connection struggled. Cleary was below his best. I think we might see Hynes at 5/8 for SOO2. Tedesco continues to be over-rated - he is always there dodging and weaving but never really accomplishes anything. As a last line of defence he was abysmal.

Hopefully Arrow and Murray are okay.

Cheers

I’d bring Edwards in for Chrichton and leave Latrell at left centre

Graham at right centre.

I’d be tempted to give Tats a run off the bench.

Anyone but TPJ really.
