Match Discussion Round 4: Rabbitohs v Bulldogs

I must say I don't feel confident about this game at all.

Can't believe I'm even writing this but I can't go over the feeling that we are going to lose tomorrow.

I picked the Roosters last week to try and ensure a Rabbitohs win...that was a bust.

I've picked us tomorrow, because we should win, and really win well.

But I have a sinking feeling that there really is something rotten in the state of Denmark, and as Poet and others have said, it's going to get worse before it gets better.

I know my Lead Cheerleader for the PollyAnnas is at serious risk...and **** I hope I'm wrong.

The season already seems a write off with us statistically very unlikely to make the finals, let alone GF.

What remains is to see how the soap opera plays out. I have to wonder if JD is simply going through the motions at this stage? Baffling selections (again).

After last week where I thought we'd at least be competitive, I really don't care that much whether we win or lose. I'm back in 90's mode as a supporter. Wish I wasn't. I just hope we can get over this crisis at some point and build for the next few years.

Agree with the sentiment that I’d like to see Duncan take on some more responsibility in this side, and playing 20 mins isn’t going to do that. So not a total loss.

Mind you, if Cam is out, JD will probably Hail Mary Shaq or Havili into 13.

Cam didn't train today I was told.

Okay so today's captains run was pretty cool to be at! Next to no other fans there but that's okay, it was nice and low key.

Cam didn't train with Tallis in his place, however, I got the impression he will play because he came out a bit later and did some passing with the forwards, just didn't do the main session. There was no one out there that wasn't originally named to cover him on the bench either so I think he'll play.

Wighton trained fully. Keaon will play right, Hosty left.

In terms of the session, it was very similar to last week as they basically just ran through sets in different areas of the field and practiced a few plays. I will note that it all looked a little sharper and much more energetic than last week. The talk was good, there was a lot of chat out there with Latrell particularly vocal.

Everyone seemed happy and in good spirits.

Probably the biggest takeaway from the session was the kicking of Cody and Hawko though. Both were practicing spiral and floating bombs. They all looked great! Tough to catch. That's the only kicks they practiced and they did a lot so I'm wondering if that will be an area of focus and a change to our game. That made me walk away feeling good. It's much needed.

Was great to meet @southsport, that was the highlight of the day for sure!!

All round, a great morning out there today. I'm ready to go.

Thanks Callmack, at least you're enjoying the Captains run!
The main think I want to know, was anyone catching any of those hard to catch spiral floating bombs? (nightmares from last week)

With the exception of pre game last week, JD does do ok with the media and talk. I’ll give him that. If I didn’t know better, I would generally feel better after hearing him speak.

He’s engaging - has some personality. Although another loss and I’m not sure what else he can say!
