If you pay attention to peniffs defence, a lot of the time they get 3 in a tackle, one peels off and they have 2 markers and even if it's just a 2 man tackle, they always make the effort to have 2 markers defending.

Compare it to our defence, how many times do you see players laying around the ruck, lazy to get up after making a tackle.
