Round 26: Other Matches

After today's matches there are only four games that can affect ladder positions. Teams that might rest players are Melbourne and the Warriors (top four guaranteed, can't get home final), Brisbane and Penrith (if they don't care about the minor premiership and losing going into the finals), Newcastle (but will they want to risk their streak). Souths, the Roosters, and NQ are playing for a place in the finals. Canberra can still drop out but if they beat Cronulla they will get home final against the Sharks the following week. So the Sharks will have incentive to win.

We don't want any injuries /suspensions from here on in. Injuries to Luai, Ponga, Metcalf, Fogarty and Manu are massive losses to their teams heading into the semis. Each of those players are going to be near impossible to replace for their respective teams for however long they're out. It's also not all rosie on the Reynolds front either up there in Brissy
