Tele article stating James Roberts has been charged (from an incident in July).

Pulled over, Police did a car search on reasonable suspicion, and the article says they found 0.3g of Cannabis and $1400 they believe is stolen or illegally obtained.

Unless it’s a misprint, 0.3g seems a trivial amount of cannabis isn’t it? And then James Roberts can’t explain having $1400 on him?

Weird.

Does say that he’s subject to a conditional release order for a previous DV incident.

The easiest way to manipulate betting is through exotics, like first try scorer, any time try scorer, margins etc

You can imagine a couple of blokes in a team doing their best to get a player who’s paying $50 or more over the line at some point in a match with somebody placing a big bet
No doubt footy players would **** something up & get caught but it’s perhaps the easiest to manipulate, much like spot betting & Indian bookies, it seems cricketers aren’t much brighter, they often make it obvious too

Yep, that would no doubt get looked at, although if there was no strange betting activity there’d probably be nothing of concern
