minns watch

I think it is far simpler. Politicians will always steer closer to the middle when they want to win an election from opposition. They then keep pretty close to this in their first, maybe second term. They then get too comfortable and start to believe their own crap. This leads to either more overt corruption and snouts in the trough and/or factions getting away with pushing their more extreme agendas. Eventually the public catches on and punishes them at the polls. Enter opposition & repeat above.

This is the first time I had no clue who I would vote for. I am also ambivalent on the results.
I didn’t see too many pollies visit the regional areas; and by this I don’t mean Newcastle or Wollongong.

Rest assured macca, nothing will change. The flag waiving supporters will cheer on their team but life as we know it will not change.

The hospital system will still be poor with the rich milking it for every cent.

The cost of living will not change

Our food and energy security is still screwed and will remain screwed.

Forget about the rental crisis being fixed as well.

infrastructure? Our roads are a mess and we will continue to pay through the nose for it

I didn’t vote for either mainstream party. My vote didn’t count and I don’t hav3 a team to cheer on.

as I said elsewhere , the horse has bolted and any meaningful change will not be happening regardless of who you vote for

i should have been more expansive. More referring to doctors and health fund. They system is a mess.

last year I went threw a process where every cent was milked from me unnecessarily by a ”specialist/surgeon“.
I certainly paid for his southern France holiday that he told me about where he’s catching up with his 3 kids in boarding school.

I had to pay out a lot more than I should have

Not every doctor is like that Cappy,a lot of them are real good blokes!

Three people I would nominate to be put up against a wall,Palmer,Murdoch and Politis!
Surely a threat to democracy in spades!
