How can we afford them in the cap unless we are cleaning out
 
Reading an article on him from 3 days ago

Currently injured, missed the last two games apparently with an abductor groin injury, they said he could have played but medical staff rather he be at 100% than play at 75%

So he could return back next game by the sound of things

I think there will be a few tap on the shoulder at the end of the season and we won’t be re signing much of the guys off contract at the end of the season

Well at the moment we’re good. Tom is gone at year’s end. So the first big addition just takes his cash. Obviously we then need a prop or forward.

In another 12 months Cody and Cook free up +$1.5m, so any shortfall is only 12 months.

He could be recruiting but also sounding out moves the other way…..cook…..cough….cough….
 
That clears up one pretty big question.

I.e, the 7 is gonna be Dodd (or if he bumbles Ilias). And Cody is going to play 6.

Meaning Mitchell plays 1 or centre.

Gray plays 1, or 14.

Wighton plays centre or backrow.

And of Gray, Wighton and Mitchell, one probably becomes the eventual 6 replacing Cody.

Ilias gets a year to transition to 9 if they do want additional 9 options for Cook moving on.
