Latest Rumours

There is no doubt we are unfit.
Being unfit is an issue in itself but it is compounded when we drop so much ball and make ourselves defend. A fit team could handle some of that pressure we cannot.

I can't be bothered but it would be interesting to see if we had a high set completion rate in the Bulldogs game and if they had a poor rate.

Those 2 will just find some other excuse as to what happened in that game.

Everyone with eyes can see we are unfit - especially opposition coaches and guys like Hindmarsh and Johns who have played hundreds of NRL games between them.

This is the result of the player driven leadership plan JD and Schaefer came up with.

We completed at 92% that game.

The Dogs 77%

They had 11 incomplete sets to our 3

It goes both ways.

Good clubs have player blocks for up and coming talent who get pilfered by struggling clubs.

They have rosters who’s value get too great that players are forced out of.

Both those situations benefit bottom feeders.

Occasionally when a top club finds themselves with 800k, of course that’s a desirable proposition for a player in their mid 20’s who’s ready to win footy games and take the next step.

The problem Gordie should call out is the ridiculous over market prices bottom clubs pay to attract talent, instead of rolling their sleeves up and building a club organically in a measured and competent way.

The Warriors didn’t lash out and pay massive overs for their resurgence. Testament to that is the fact JFH has just went there on market value. Ditto the Sharks. They paid a fair price and bought quality adds.

Run your club better.

Everybody is playing under the same system. Whether you need to improve your ownership structure, executive, football dept, pathways, or marketing. Saying ‘it’s not fair’ doesn’t cut it.

Go back and listen to Flanagan's presser after the Cronulla loss. He talked about how his team fatigued in that game. Pretty much exactly what's been happening to us. So Saints are also unfit hey ? It should make for an even contest then. 😂

Our completion rate in the Bulldogs game was over 90% from memory.
