Gary Stevens was a tackling machine . Fantastic technique and when he hit them they certainly knew about it.

Speaking more recently, I think Cam Smith is an immortal. Like zero doubt.
Throw in Slater and GI while we’re at it.
I think all 3 were as dominant as Johns, Meninga and Lewis.
People might complain that’s too many from 1 era.
But QLD won 11 from 12 Origin series while these guys were in action. Crazy stuff.
Thurston and Lockyer I’d leave out, just as I don’t think they did as much for their positions as those other guys.
