If they perform better, they’ll play up. This fascination with Te Hau ‘developing in NSW Cup’ - guy has shown little this season to suggest he’s ready to excel at that level with the time he’s had off.

Mellars is a a week back. I’d love him to be ready for first grade, let alone NSW Cup, but he’s had an interrupted SG Ball season of experience to date (last year) and 40 minutes of Flegg last week.

When he dominates at Flegg level, they’ll play him in NSW Cup.
 
Flegg boys got belted 52-0 by the Tigers. Conceded 10 tries. Mellars didn't play (no idea of the reason).

NSW Cup is up 6-0 after 5 mins. It's on NSWRL TV for anyone who cares.

Geez whats happened to the flegg side.
 
Good for the Cup side to get a win. With our NRL side in disarray with injuries, our depth has been tested but it’s been great to see some young guys get an opportunity at that level.

Anyone who was there/watched the stream, who impressed?

I know you agree with this, but that score again reflects the need for the club to hire a defensive co-ordinator to get our defensive structures right from Matt’s to NRL

Last year watching Reggie’s and NRL it was evident under Joe they had the philosophy of hold and slide and don’t try to solve defensive problems by yourself

While the NRL team definitely had the opposite philosophy of rush up and in no matter what. It still seems Furner is pushing this in firsts
