Mening’s comment regarding not picking Latrell go back to well before the team was announced. He was never going to pick him
Anyways, it’s done and dusted. Let’s just hope he misses the ball stars game as his penalty

Absolutely no reason Meninga couldn't have named Latrell in the squad instead of someone like Burton. Turbo's body is made of tissue. Latrell was deemed fit by medical staff. This was all about his made up reason of team culture. Let's just watch and see how many more times he pulls the culture call. I'd say never. This was all about playing the man and not the ball.
As has been just stated,, it's over and done with now. Yes, that's true ,but Latrell and Souths are still stuck with the legacy of Culture King Meninga's decision.
 
I didn’t catch much of the Pac Champs due to commitments but I did manage to go to the final.

Wow. What an atmosphere; easily top three best I’ve been to in rugby league. Only thing that topped that would be Round 13, 2013 and the 2014 GF.

Goes to show how good the V’landys x Abdo administration are going. International footy is back.

We just need to get England/Great Britain and France back in shape and the game will be making huge strides. The former are growing as an international outfit but the latter really needs development.

Regardless, despite Murray’s injury it was a hugely successful competition. Can’t wait to see what next year has with New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga competing.
