She's released no policies at all, nor has she said anything about running the party on religious lines. She is not a terrorist, so not even sure why this is news in this thread? Is it just because she's Islamic?

And she refuses to describe the Oct7th attack on Israel as a terrorist attack.

We're a multicultural society so any citizen is a regular Aussie as far as I'm concerned. She has every right to form a party same as anyone else.

Still not sure what this is doing in a thread on terror attacks?

She said her decision was spurred by disagreement over the government’s position on Israel’s actions in the Middle East, describing the situation as an “ongoing genocide” that compelled everyone to act with “a sense of urgency and moral clarity”

What Israel are doing presently is seen as "ongoing genocide" by many, not just Muslims.
What Hamas did, and still does, is terrorism.
Fault in both sides in my opinion.

There’s been fault on both sides for a hundred years.
we don’t need to make their history part of Australian society as is currently happening. We don’t need that culturally or politically 😰

I agree. However, a lot of these folk have relatives in the area so they're bound to have strong opinions. Not sure what they expect the Australian govt to do though, apart from what they've done already.

I'm sure if England was being bombed a lot of us would feel the same anguish.
 
Every day Hezbollah and Hamas fire rockets and missiles into Irael, as well now as missiles from Iran, tell me what country would not respond in the exact same way as Israel is doing, imagine a country firing into suburban areas of the Uk or the USA, the response would be massive, Israel was attacked and is attacked every day, maybe if the missiles stopped you might get your peace.

Given their frantic desire to increase our immigration levels they should consider their cultural mixes when doing so

Israel want to put the constant threat of attacks by the Islamic countries to bed once and forever and this is their opportunity, they won't stop until it's finished.
