Yep, seconded! There have been a lot of circumstances that have led us to where we are now from our premiership win in 2014, and losing a player of his quality due to a drunken blow up with one of our owners, is one of them!I've always respected Luke Keary. He has retired with class.
He was absolutely terrible from about halfway through 2015 and all of 2016.
Our attack was non-existant and he was a major part of that.
That said, we had a premiership winning worthy squad and were playing like busteds all over the shop (not similar to now as at this moment we have nowhere near a premiership winning squad).
If we had kept him and got rid of Madge earlier we potentially could have won much more but hypotheticals are useless.
"Roosters wank-a-thon" sounds like one of Nick Politis car dealership promotions.Apart from all the Roosters wank-a-thon, that was a touching and heart felt announcement.
Keary was only ever a threat when he had a decent 7 playing alongside him - eg Reynolds or Cronk.
Asking him to steer the ship on his own was never the right choice from us.
