They've ditched the roadshow and committed to 12 home games at their one home ground this year.Apparently Manly requested to have the bye.
I'm jealous.

Siebs has tactical periodisationed the entire draw.Apparently Manly requested to have the bye.
They have an actual home field too. It sucks, but it’s theirs and a genuinely intimidating (mostly through being crappy) place for opposition teams to visit. They've ditched the roadshow and committed to 12 home games at their one home ground this year.

3rd game is good. Get it done before the field is trashed.Fair point.
I'm ok with playing Newcastle at 3pm on Saturday.
I just think they could've given the last game of Magic Round in particular a bit of a tickle.
So we have home games for Magic around, Perth and Gosford. If we have 2 home games at Allianz that just leaves 7 at Accor and the reciprocal rights game v Dogs. That will leave lots of ticketed members pissed off
I knowThey don’t care
Sharks, Roosters, Phins, Dragons, Broncos, Dogs are the other teams we play twicePanthers and Storm twice.
Bye round 12, 19 and 26.
So the top 4 from 2024 (Panthers, Storm, Roosters and Sharks) all twice?Sharks, Roosters, Phins, Dragons, Broncos, Dogs are the other teams we play twice
Yes top 4 twice as usual. It looks like the NRL would make them away games twice if they could! At least next season we will have the team and coach to contend with it.So the top 4 from 2024 (Panthers, Storm, Roosters and Sharks) all twice?
Love your work Annesley. Seriously, sack this guy somebody. Please.
2025 Souths' season starts with 3 away games2021 Souths' season started with 2 away games
2022 Souths' season started with 2 away games
2023 Souths' season started with 3 away games
2024 Souths' season started with 3 away games
... and now we'll start 2025, again, away from home.
I seriously doubt, after a car race, that Accor will be ready for football just 7-8 days later, either.
Every year there's something on at Accor in March that takes precedence over the footy. Adele, Race of Champions, whatever. We seem to miss out on the early season crowd buzz (save for Good Friday), and play the bulk of our footy there in and around the Origin period when no-one cares.
That Accor deal is a bloody noose around our necks.
