I want to be 20 again. ain't happening.

I wasn't JD to coach this team to a successful season. Unlikely to happen also. We have moved past the let's wait and hope like the old days. He has had since last year to turn things around and has not. What is likely to change in the next few months? God I hope I'm wrong because this season is depressing.

I love it how people on here are consistently saying this team is unfit. Did anyone attend every training session during pre-season ? Has anyone attended every training session or weights session since then ?

I did and got participate!

Most of the players weren't there though. Sutto and Jason Clarke put us through our paces and I came away realising, at 52, I'm not as fit as I once was!

That would have been quite an experience. I probably would have made it through 10 mins if lucky and collapsed in a heap. Fitness for me these days are short bursts to the fridge for a beer.

Maybe he’ll be a late inclusion. 66 minutes in NSW Cup a fortnight ago.

I doubt it. He's been named in the 13 for reserve grade.....

Why keep putting him there, unless you're going to move Murray to the backrow. How does this help his development?

Or maybe, they've given up on 1st grade and think he'll add more to the Reserve Grade side, so they can become back-to-back premiers? ***sarcasm intended***

Reasoning:
- Moale IMO is the logical Tatola replacement - tradesman for tradesman
- Arrow to start prop. One of our best middles, there is no use hiding him, he's either fit or he isn't.
- Left side of Wighton and Tass
- Right side of Thompson (a centre) and Gagai (who plays on the right)
- Duncan left edge, get him in there
- Burgess and Shaq for impact/second-phase off the bench
- Havili to spell Murray
- Milne as a utility, can both both on an edge or in the middle, where required. If you want Host or Chee Kam there instead I won't argue.

Unavailable:
- L.Mitchell, Johnston, Munro, Graham, Ilias, Tatola, Te Hau, Kennar, Lovett, Fletcher (anyone else?

If Shaq is out Arrow or Moale would start with Duncan onto bench

Like i said early in the thread, it would be funny if we fluked a win somehow and did it with JD as coach.

Which tells me we need someone in recruitment to focus on Penrith lower grades and see what we can pinch.

When was the last time we signed a kid from NZ?

We should be not only pinching kids from Penrith.

But NZ rugby, English Super League, PNG, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and the Central Coast

ATM all our focus seems to be signing kids form QLD, like that’s the only place where RL is played

What is likely to change in the next few months?

Well, for a start we won’t be playing Manly, Rorters, Donkeys, NZ, Storm or Penrith

we’ll be playing Cows, dragons, eels, titans. Hopefully winning 3 atleast before being being hit with the donkeys, eagles Storm again.

Actually Langmack probably has our best win percentage as coach against the Storm

Arthur Kitinas has a 100% record. JD next best with 50%. Langmack won 1 of 3.
