I mean, this is the reverse of us discussing Lachlan Ilias. :)

I think he’s safe. He does his work, has a bit of size. I think he’s effective in contact with and without the ball.

I know people talk a lot about skill with Shaq. Personally, I see a Mark Nichols type.

Reliable.

I don’t see the similarities with Nicholls. I probably see him as a Mark Nicholls on wish. Anyway Wayne sees something in him that he feels he can work on.

I have the same issues with Lovett.

He's just another small back rower that isn't going to have any impact in first grade imo

Lovett is only young. Who knows where he goes from here. Although Liam Le Blanc has overtaken him already.

Will be fascinating to see if they saw Le Blanc as being versatile, or strictly a middle.

He has more of the size and frame to play the position, even though the website says Lovett is meant to be bigger, it doesn't pass the eye test though.

young kids like Le Blanc is who we should be trying to sign more of.
 
On Shaq, I am happy to see him re-signed. I think we can get an Andrew Fafita type player there with the right guidance.

Would rather Shaq take a position in our 30 than Host, Chee-Kam, Havilli, Keppie or Milne.
 
I like Le-Blanc. Still hold hopes for Fletcher too. Not sure if he was retained though. Terrible run with injuries, may mean he never gets a shot.
 
I really want him pressing the top 17 for a regular spot in 25.
Lots to like and some real controlled aggro that we sorely need! Go Liam...
