I would prefer him over Shaq. At least he is young and we haven’t seen his ceiling. I think we have seen Shaq’s ceiling. The resigning of lovett is strange one

Apparently wasn’t there. I didn’t go this year so only going off reports of what I have been told by those that were there.Does anyone know why Latrell wasn’t there?
I didn’t spot him in the photo.

Then why write this piece Buzz you bloated winoKnowing what the issue is, which the club has asked to keep private, his absence was totally understandable.
From Buzz Column tomorrow:
LATRELL’S NOTABLE NO-SHOW
Superstar Latrell Mitchell was a noticeable absentee from South Sydney’s George Piggins Medal gala dinner on Friday night.
Jack Wighton was named best and fairest player of the year but his close mate couldn’t turn up to the presentation at The Star casino.
Latrell was dealing with a personal family matter.
Knowing what the issue is, which the club has asked to keep private, his absence was totally understandable.
It was disappointing for Latrell because it was also the farewell dinner for Rabbitohs favourites, hooker Damien Cook and front-rower Tom Burgess.
Latrell last week caught up for a meeting with new coach Wayne Bennett, who is already in Sydney to begin work at the Rabbitohs.
He played only 11 games this year but is determined to reinvent himself under the old super coach next year.
Imagine having your best year yet and not getting a deal
Not seeing it with Lovett..
Richie Kennar was announced as leaving last night. Cody Walker had surgery a couple of days ago.
Apparently there isn’t a spot available for Taane at the moment. Looks like we have filled our top 30 spots already.
Lovett, Tass and Shaq have all been re-signed.
Didn’t hear anything about him. I’ll take it that he will be staying. Not sure if it will be part of the top 30 or not.And Gagai?
Lovett when I watched him reminds me of like a young Kyle Turner makes his tackles no frills etc just workman like.Imagine having your best year yet and not getting a deal

Thanks mate some good info there much appreciated. I won’t lose sleep if we lose Kennar and Milne.Richie Kennar was announced as leaving last night. Cody Walker had surgery a couple of days ago.

If he’s gonna perform under anyone it’ll be Wayne. We need him playing 19-20 games for us a year not just 12 or 13.Trell says a lot of the stuff you want to hear each season but hasn't backed up the talk yet.
Yes he was. He was there with his wife and newborn.Big Tommy wasn’t there either.
Members Choice should have easily been Milne.
On small money. Busts his ass each and every week. Our only spark in attack for most of the season.
Pound for pound our best performer despite the fact that he was very exposed in defense at time (was an impossible job with this teams fitness defending as 2 man in regardless)
But whatever. Hive mind gonna hive mind
