Random Stats Thread

That is insane. If the Riff had our injury toll where would they have finished on the ladder? We could have had more injuries in our offseason than they had in their regular season. It would be great to copy Penriths model for injury management.
They've had the least games missed from injury for a number of consecutive seasons now.

They have either made a quantum leap in injury prevention and management, or....

Just on the 2024 season there are 71 games between 2nd most games missed and 17th most games missed. The gap between most games missed, us, and 2nd most missed is 73 games. That is staggering!

It was an epidemic.

Jamie Humphreys kicked for 727m on Friday night.

The most metres Adam Reynolds ever kicked for in a game for Souths was 647m in Round 16, 2020.

Admittedly, the more you're stuck in your own end, the longer you have to kick for, but I did find it interesting, nonetheless.

Big boot on the kid.

Another random stat

Terrell May ran for 190m last week.

4 more than Kellie, Moale and Tatola combined at 186m

Not excusing this, but for added context, he also had 1 more run than all 3 combined.

While that might seem even more damning, the 3 Souths boys combined for a total of 95 minutes to Tyrell’s 65.

Considering Tatola got a token 25 mins in his first game back for a year, and Moale got very limited minutes (29 - considering he’s a steady big minute player, that doesn’t really play to his strengths), I’m not that suprised.

If by Round 10 he’s still making more than just Moale and Tatola combined, then I think we can talk more about it.

At full strength Keppie won’t make the side IMO (as long as Moale doesn’t fall off a cliff). Even with Cam out. Arrow, Moale, Tatola and Havili will be the big men rotation, with Duncan assisting hopefully.

Jeez, you're a hard marker on Keppie. I thought it was one of his better games in our colours, and under Wayne I expect him to continue to improve on that effort.

I want to see more of those spiral kicks he first put up.

Make them rain
