Just saw this online. Hopefully the attached picture works
No . It was all down to the coach and high performance team, remember. You factor the horrendous draw into those injury stats and it explains a lot.
I bet last season was close to the same
No chance Cody has “a few years left”.Cody is reasonably quick off the mark, add that to footy smarts and he's a deadly proposition in the opposition's 20. If he can stay injury free there still might be a few more years left in the old fella's legs to catch Cronk in both departments.
Cronk: 372 games, 101 tries, 341 try assists
DCE: 327 games, 92 tries, 292 try assists
Walker: 212 games, 99 tries 199 try assists
Cody is a seriously underrated try scorer.
99 tries in 212 games for a half? Mental.

So most of the competition's high-performance teams are shit going off the stats presented. Is that what you're alluding to ? You do know that many injuries are broken bones or head knocks. No high-performance team on the planet is going to stop an injury like Illias or Munro suffered. You can ridicule the recovery time all you like, but I think I'll personally listen and agree with people who are experts in their field on that and not a keyboard wannabee doctor. Ridiculous analysis blaming trainers and doctors for this year's performance. I never backed JD. I mentioned numerous times that I was baffled by some of his selections and I'm more than happy to see Wayne take over. I did however say that he never had a chance with the injuries that plagued this team. It would have been beyond a high majority of coaches in this comp to get this team winning. Hornby got a nice stretch with some players returning and below par opposition, then as soon as injuries and suspensions hit again it was exactly the same as when JD was here. I know I'm talking to a brick wall, so I won't continue with this conversation. You can have your opinion, and I'll have mine and life goes on.Having a shit high performance team leads to more injuries and more time off recovering
Honestly how anyone can defend JD or the high performance team is beyond me.
I agree in part, but a lot of the injuries are preventable. All the calves for ****s sake. Seriously too many and that comes down to training load and recovery practices. No high-performance team on the planet is going to stop an injury like ... Munro suffered.
