2025 Pre-Season

NRL is tough. Biondi-Odo ‘resurrecting his career’ at 22.
He is on train and trial right now I believe but I reckon we will sign him. He is another backup for hooker. Is very quick out of dummy half and can play in the halves. Whether it is a development of top 30 remains to be seen.

We have 2 spine roles to be cemented and having extra depth is a good idea. It would give us Dodd, Humphries and Biondi-odo who can play 1/2 and Mamo, Humphries and Biondo-odo who can play hooker.

Any thoughts as to how good he could be?

Wraps on Humphries seem accurate. If Bailey BO can live up to his early potential, we could end up being ok in the 9 department.

For me the question is 1 or 2 hookers. Havili on the bench is great as you don’t need to carry a specialist hooker as I would be surprised if any of our 9s are ready for 80mins in the middle.

If Havili isn’t in favour I assume we carry a back up 9 - the flow on effect is what happens to Gray? Seems like 14 is his only way into a full strength line up. My view at this stage is he starts in Reserves at fullback or 7.

I recall him at the Berries, he showed promise and was surprised they let him go. Very lively and quick.
A fast exciting hooker from the bulldogs...surely we cant do it to them again.
Ps...good reply Percy.
Ps1...'the berries'? ...old school. Haven't heard that for a while.
Thx.
