2025 Pathways Grades

I think Furner is a step away in more of an overseer management role? So who coaches where and how that’s applied through the grades?

Regardless, if they go on a run, I’m happy to give everyone credit. :)

Possibly, it was really good in the other two trials also, perhaps defence is a real focus, traditionally these younger grades leak points like a sieve, so if you can concentrate on defence it’s a great start
 
That Matt’s game is now online at Bunnies TV for anyone that didn’t catch it due to the streaming glitch.

Not a bad performances as such. Led early, then gave away too much field position with penalties and dropped ball.

The side also probably suffers a little from having a ‘give the ball to Darcy Feltham’ approach.

Lokeni is a big body centre who they’ll have success with if they can get him clean ball and space.

I was only just watching some Feltham highlights online, I’ve been watching him for a few years, I hope he stays with league
The Matt’s team seemed to have a few players out, didn’t see Elijah Blair Maile, hope he’s still with us

Feltham will be an interesting one to see develop from a positional point of view. I’m not sure he’s actually a fullback. I reckon he more likely ends up at 6 or in the centres maybe. Does look a rugby kid in the way he plays.

He was in the Waratahs pathways as well, if you search his name on YouTube you’ll see his dad films all his games, there are a ton of rah rah games up too
I think Charlie Poynton is another one, he’s Flegg, Elijah Maile is another & I think Humphries too, all been tied up with rugby as well
 
Anyone know if they’ll be wearing the horrific tricolours jersey still?
 
Looks good for the under 19s, but who knows who Manly put out and how strong they are. They're even playing with two sets of jerseys and we don't know how the clubs have approached the match with training during the week, etc.

End of the day it's a trial. Rd 1 v the reigning champions will be a better indicator.

There were a lot of Manly supporters on the live feed that were very chirpy before the game talking up so called superstars in the making, they soon quietened down
But you’re right, it’s hard to go off preseason, we were at about the same level as the sharks & knights in earlier trials, a bit better than the tigers, I don’t think you can read much into the trials
 
Anybody looked into the new NSWRL x BarTV Sports partnership? Got an email to suggest they’ll be broadening their streamed coverage of all NSWRL grades. $19.99 a month I think, so they’d want to have every Souths Cup, Flegg, Ball and Matt’s game for that price.
