prior to WW2 breaking out was selling pig iron to the Japs.
He would hold a public meeting and the unions would deposit pig iron ingots at his feet on the podium.A great man lol.
His govt.faced up to the fact that they didn’t have any balls and crossed the floor in parliament to vote themselves out of office!
Curtin who was not a well man took on Roosevelt and the aristocrat Arsehole Churchill demanding our troops be sent home Winnie in a fit of pique refused to send a Royal Navy escort for the Aussie troop convoy.He had ruthlessly wasted Oz troops in Singapore and Greece.Truly an enemy of Australia!
Churchill referred to Curtin as a second class man.

Interesting article, MacArthur hero that he was wanted to attack the Russians after they had annihilated the Nazi threat to civilisation at the cost of 28 million Russian lives.A Bastard of the highest rank!
Heres another fact my workmate was an engineer in the Oz army in New Guinea.
There was a bloke in the 53rd militia who was good at everything including negating Japs.That blokes name was Jack Rayner!
