I expect an immediate return to the top 8 and knocking on the door to the top 4. The roster Madge has for 2025 is one of the best in the comp. The first action for him though is weeding out any dissent then shoring up his roster.
 
From what I’ve seen & heard about the player group “culture” I doubt,very much, that he’ll succeed.
Not a talent based issue as we know they have that. I suspect it will be a short & ugly courtship………maybe that’s just because I think it would be funny seeing them implode 😆
 
Madge is good at culture and standards.

If the Broncos can nail a good Football Dept guy to join him they’ll be quality for a period.

I think fine.

At the end of the day, players want to win and be good at what they do.

If they respect the guy in charge and think he can help with that, then you’re on your way.

In Madge’s corner is the fact that since the Tigers he has the NZ and Origin success in his corner. So he’s won a premiership, and won at the International and Origin level.

He’ll have Adam in his corner to start, which helps too.
 
I think his style won't work at the Broncos and I don't care.
He had a mix of older and young types in 2014 at Souths.
This younger brigade feel entitled and don't respond to rants and threats....could end in tears (again like Tigpies)...

I disagree, the squad is not as good as we think and young Recce Walsh has them by the short and curlys. The young guys, particular the afore mentioned along with Cobbo, have a terrible attitude.

The minute that Madge tries to pull the team into order or rebuild the roster he will hit a huge brick wall in the old boys establishment. I reckon as a organisation they are a long way from winning a comp. Right now the players have all the power and I doubt Madge will get the support from the organisation to pull it into line.

Agree with Cobbo but what makes you think same of Walsh?
He's on himself, understandably, but I watched him do a presser this year and he was very respectful, looked the interviewers in the eye and gave thoughtful answers.
It was opposite of someone with a terrible attitude

I think your mental health will remain in tact. After Madge has pulled a couple of weeds a return to the top 6 next year and top 4 in another couple of years is very possible with his roster. The Reynolds and Madge combo would be if Reynolds is part of the coaching crew. Even then, Madge appears to have a used by date. Unlikely.
