2025 Membership

Also, just putting this out there. Does anyone have a cap and sticker they don't want?

I'm after a second one of each and will happily pay for it.
 
Got my pack today!! Gotta say I'm pretty blown away to be honest. Everything looks so good, and there's some really special stuff in there.

I have arranged for new cards to be sent out to you, that will reflect the same seating and Aisle Access as last year.

Thanks to Michael whose call I missed but have saved the voicemail indicating that there is no change to our current seating.

Furthermore, Michael advised that the changes are for more convenient access to our existing seats.



Unfortunately I am still not convinced on this for the following reasons:



Currently and over the last 15 years access has been via Aisle 130 and this is because the seats are right on the Aisle way steps and are basically accessible immediately from this Aisle.



I only have to step across one seat my friend and fellow Diamond Seating colleague Tony Lee; my 3 seats are the next seats to his end of aisle seat 40????



The other more important reason for my doubt and concern is that the Customer Service staff at Accor always check the card for the Aisle number to allow access to seating.



Even if I entered via Aisle 131 and headed back to my current seats I would be having to cross over 30 plus people to get to my seats.

This is not more convenient access and it is possible if the same convention has been applied to someone else’s card they can say that they are in their correct seat and I should be in the next Aisle down.




As I have mentioned below, I have had my existing seats for over 15 years and they are right on half-way.

I do not want to lose them and I ask that the 3 cards be re-issued with AISLE 130 and not AISLE 131 to avoid issues on the first home game in 2025.




I appreciate the difficulty of your tasks in light of the membership system hiccups in 2024; please do not exacerbate them again in 2025 especially following Blake Solly’s message yesterday that the new platform is going to make SSFC’s membership system the Gold Standard and the envy of other Clubs.



Please look at the Accor seating plan and you will see what I state above is correct and that the most convenient access is as it has been for over 15 years via Aisle 130.



I appreciate you looking at this as a sincere request to avoid issues not create them as I believe an honest mistake has been made impacting on a lot of members if not corrected before Season 2025 commences.

I had the same issue just rang them and they were aware of the issue and are changing my seat entry back to aisle 131.
I rang them again I did two weeks ago they said they’d get back to us they didn’t.

I spoke to a young lady she didn’t understand at first and then it cut out I rang back after explaining again she understood and they are sending new cards in the mail

Two of three were faulty. Two grandkids upset, and one bragging about how good his was! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Would it be worth ringing the club in the new year to perhaps get them replaced?

it won't hurt and am sure the new sponsor of membership wants to start on the right foot. Also the membership team are very customer/member-centric so it will get a sympathetic hearing especially the way you described it above.

I think I will. The grandson whose footy is good has used it constantly in their pool since Xmas. The other two are missing out.
I know it’s not a biggie, but to 10 year old boys it is.

Still you expect a bit better yeah good idea to chase it up I hope they can help I’m sure they will.
 
Great news-Wahoo will replace the balls.
Club were so easy to deal with-wasn’t a problem at all.
Communication and a bit of perseverance is what is needed to make them understand your issue.
I have now received my 'amended'/ correct Season Tickets as promised by the Membership Team.
The issue was that they changed the Aisle number on the swipe card; took a couple of goes to get them to appreciate what I was saying and they fixed it promptly.

Glad that your tribe will now all have functioning Wahoo footballs.
Even playing field once more.
