On a window of form we saw early 2022 it’s a loss. On what he did in 2023, it’s less of an issue.

It does mean we have another centre depth piece to recruit. And no, not Jacob Gagai.

Probably means Fergusson gets fast tracked.
 
If we lost Keon this would really be the icing on the cake for this year. I thought he'd already agreed to terms. My money's on the Rorters if he does go. They lose Crichton and they have their replacement. Surely Angus must be having second thoughts watching that pathetic excuse of a team that's playing in the World Cup.

They will probably be losing Sua'ali'i, Angus Crichton, Fletcher Baker, Jaxson Paulo, Dylan Napa and Nathan Brown.

If you dump the silly conspiracies and look at the facts they could afford him easily.

Outside of the first 2 how much of the cap do you think the others are taking up? Not to mention adding Young and Leniu.

We are talking about a player being offered $900k here.
 
As we did with Angus Crichton, if the market surges to silly territory, and the player wants to take it, you wish the player the best and say goodbye.

Hopefully Keaon gets it and takes unders to stay home.

They re-signed JWH and Toupo who were meant to be finishing there

But why exclude the first two? As it stands now they are allegedly cap compliant. They are both on big money and would easily cover Koloamatangi. Letting Crichton go alone would probably cover Koloamatangi, at a Roosters wage, not 900K.

You can't ignore the big money they are on just because you don't like the scenario.

As for the others I'd guess Baker would be on reasonable money as he was allegedly upgraded last season.
Jaxson I really couldn't guess, but it would be more than minimum, Napa next to nothing and Brown probably half decent pay.

The point is, add them all up, plus they'll lose some we don't know about and they could easily offer 900K with money over.

But I also don't believe they are chasing him, at least not at that money.

The Roosters are not stupid, they will always find a way to get a player for unders not overs, they wouldn't go anywhere near 900k for him. Nor would I. In fact I wouldn't be in the least bothered if he goes to the Raiders.
