Player Jye Gray

Jye leading the nrl most run metres after 2 rounds ...
BUT what will surprise many is that he is also leading the nrl post contact metres with 190 pc metres - that's the 'pinball' effect!!

Do we put 8 or 10 on his back when Trell returns??? 🤔

Speed is power, and physics is king.

Don't underestimate how difficult it is for big tall beasts to get low and try to stop this guy.

Everyone focuses on his height without realising it genuinely has a huge benefit to his game. Being so low to the ground, yet fast and powerful. Big asset.

He was good, but I didn't think he was THAT good against a quality side today.

Jye's effort is amongst the best I have seen.

If he keeps putting in, he will reap the rewards.

Said to the old man today - he's a NRL quality player trapped in a Flegg players' body. Got a deserved wrap from the commentators for his vision but I'm not sure you can make up for his lack of size (I'll happily donate some if he needs it). Can we transplant his brain into Ravalawa's body? Would be damn near unstoppable for mine...

Jye is not a natural fullback, he will struggle learning the finer nuances of fullback play because it's not intrinsic to him.

We need to hurry up and get him some minutes in first grade in the halves because that's where he belongs.

Cody is not looking very good so far this season, and Humphreys at 7 and Jye at 6 could work well.
Anyone concerned about his defence and size has not been paying attention.
