There are so many different ways that work for some and not others.
like BD, ive also retired about 3 years ago.
183cm tall, 90kg. A bit of a belly. During that time my weight has not fluctuated greatly as i believe I stick a lot less in my gob that I used to.
Generally I have a warm lemon juice about 8am. Go for a coffee at my local between 9 & 10. It seems to keep my appetite at bay because I’m distracted. I then go off shopping, golf, walk dogs or house maintenance etc so don't really think to eat until lunch time.
Afternoon snack then dinner by 7-30. A lot better quality and less volume. Certainly less carbs a big help (?) 2 litres of water during the day
still drink 3 or 4 wines a night.
with golf and the dogs I probably walk 25km a week but I really do think cutting out junk food and especially junk drinks and eating less is the key
