Do not get into the city much these days , years, however I do have a family event on Saturday nite which should end around 8 pm at the Quay. Wondering which is the best pub to head to watch the game with my family. Do not want to waste time pub crawling trying to find the best.
appreciate any knowledgeable advice.

1 million options, but I’d probably head for the casino. The sports bar in there has a huuuge screen to watch and they have the volume up.

Your options for a "family venue" are very limited around Circular Quay.

Might be better off jumping onto the light rail and heading up to Club York Sydney at 99 York Street. Get off at QVB Stop and walk back towards there.

You would have to catch a ferry from the quay or walk ~15 mins but I walked past this place the other day and it looked good

Try the new wahlburgers its pretty cool

The Sporting Globe x 4 Pines at King Street Wharf. Not sure how far that'll be from you but it's a family restaurant and sports bar.

As others have said - not a lot of good family friendly pub options there. But if you wanna stay in Circular Quay and avoid travelling all over the city...

Winghaus
Heaps of TVs. Play sport with sound. Heaps of beers. Right behind the ferry terminals.

And great chicken.
